Golden Tips | How to properly care for & store your adhesive

1) Proper Storage: Store your adhesive in an upright position in a cool, dark, and dry location.  Store at room and low humidity. Avoid storing it in the refrigerator (do not freeze), as moisture degrade the formula adding H2O inside the bottle. Either store inside the original zip lock packaging (with silica) or use our air tight storage container.  Air tight container uses a vacuum-seal to protect the adhesive from environmental factors.

When opening a new bottle, write the date on the bottle to maintain freshness.  DO NOT store your adhesive with your lash remover

2) Shelf Life: An unopened adhesive should last up to six to ten months if properly stored, while an opened adhesive typically has a shelf life of six weeks. Replace the bottle if it becomes stringy or thick.

  • UV Adhesive:  1-3 months once opened. 6 months unopened.
  • Infinity & Purity Adhesive:  2 months once opened. 10 months unopened.
  • Supreme & Clarity:  2 months once opened. 6-9 months unopened.

3) Shaking Technique: Shake the adhesive for two minutes at the start of the day and and before dispensing each drop. Consider investing in vortex mixer. When shaking, remove the cap and insert a pin into the nozzle or cover it with tin foil. "Burp" the bottle by turning the nozzle upright after dispensing a drop and gently squeezing to release air bubbles.

4) Nozzle Cleaning: Use lint-free wipe to clean the nozzle each time you dispense adhesive to avoid messy situations and clogged bottles. Our Adhesive Wipes are ideal for this purpose.

5) Change of Adhesive Drop: Change the adhesive drop every 20-25 minutes while applying lashes, as indicated by the development of a skin or stringiness when dipping the lash. This ensures a fresh and effective bond.

7) Record Keeping:  Store your MSDS in a convenient location.   If you need a copy of your MSDS you can find them in our Help Section > Ingredients.
