What Are the Ideal Room Conditions?

Creating the right room condition not only ensures that your lash adhesive works correctly, but also ensures your lash client have a more enjoyable experience. 

* Controlling the amount of surface & ambient moisture, manipulates the speed of ‘tack’, (the grab or hold you feel when you create a bond). It is easier to control the surface moisture of your immediate work zone, than the humidity levels of your salon. 

* The ideal conditions are temperatures of 68-78⁰ F (20-26⁰ C), and 20-65% relative humidity (RH), depending upon the adhesive used and your location. Use a Hygro-thermometer to watch room humidity & temperature. If adhesive sets too slowly, introduce more moisture with a humidifier/Nano mister. Low humidity (>30%) slows curing, however, a 10⁰ F increase in temperature can double the rate of polymerization. 

* Proper ventilation is a must to prevent airborne chemicals and fumes from building up, especially those of other lash salon chemicals such as nails or hair dyes. This can also regulate the temperature and humidity levels.
