New Client Consultation - What does your consultation form look like? Do you even have one?

Jan 27th 2023

A new client consultation is an important step to ensure your appointments go as smoothly as possible for you and your client. Your client likely has an understanding of lashes, but this is the opportunity to answer questions and set expectations. For your meeting, be sure your workspace is presented as it will be for the day of the appointment. This makes a great first impression of you and your studio or salon. Have photos of your work ready so your potential client can see your work quality and styles you offer.

What questions should I ask?

1) Have you ever had extensions before? What was your experience like? Did you have any reactions, what were your likes/dislikes?

2) How much makeup do you wear?

This can help you determine the right lash style and how natural or dramatic you want the extensions to be.

3) Any allergies or sensitivity? (Previous eye infections/disease/latex or adhesive allergies etc.)

4) Do you have an active/athletic lifestyle?

5) Do you wear glasses or contacts?

6) Any permanent makeup or eye surgery in the past 6-8 weeks?

7) Are you on any medications/antibiotics?

8) Do you have any inspirational pictures of lashes?

** Important Note: Keep the expectations real and consistent with the products you offer.
