Is it possible for a client to develop an allergy over time?

Is it possible for a client to develop an allergy over time?

Sep 9th 2022

Your client may have been wearing lash extensions for years and then suddenly begin showing signs of irritation.

Never apply extensions to a client who shows any sign of irritation.

Suggested steps to take at the first sign of a reaction:

1. Stop applying eyelash extensions.

2. Remove the lash extensions using the PremierLash remover gel or cream (provided the client's skin is not overly irritated).

3. Cleanse the eyes and eye area with PremierLash Lash Cleansing Mousse (again, provided the client's skin is not overly irritated, raw, or compromised) and rinse thoroughly.

5. Advise your client to visit their doctor or ophthalmologist as soon as possible.

If your client wishes to continue with eyelash extension services, have them visit their doctor to have a proper allergy test. It is possible that their reaction is to something that can be removed from the treatment without affecting the safety or integrity of the eyelash extension service.

We also suggest that you, lash stylist, use either an Ultra Bonder or a Nano Mister.  The Bonder instantly cures lash adhesive by drying from the inside. The adhesive shrinks as it dry's, adding strength to the bond.  The PremierLash Hydrogen Nano Mister generates hydrogen-rich water with ultrasonic mist technology. The cloud-like, ultra-fine mist reduces the curing time of adhesives, reducing or preventing many common eye sensitivities.
